Crazy Crafting Times

Hello all,
well it's lovely and sunny here today which makes a change hehe, I have been working on some new Bookatrix Keepsakes along with 2 new styles of keepsakes which I have not done before and I must say I am quite proud of how they have turned out YAY!!!.

I have also been working on some other card's but mainly the Bookatrix Keepsakes, I haven't been able to do as much as I would have liked due to my health still not being 100% horrible chest infection, fibro flare ups, migraines, feeling down you name it it's happening :(.

I have even struggled to get my head together to do some challenge makes for Delicious Doodles :( *cries*, So I just want to say a BIG Sorry to you all but mainly to Teri for not being able to get any done, lack of sleep and lack of mojo do not help, But I will be back in full swing for the next challenge for Team B.

So on a little more of a positive note here is what I have been able to do

Sponsored Face My Fear

Hello all again

As promised a post about what I have been busy organising, well here goes as some of you know I am the Fundraiser for Staffordshire Sands which is a Stillbirth and Neonatal death charity. I decided to raise some funds for this wonderful charity by facing my fear!!!

So what is my fear????
Well my fear is of them 8 legged freaks...... Yes you guessed it SPIDERS!!!! ewwwww.

I must be mad!!! Not only am I going to do this to raise funds but I am going one step further than just holding the Chile Rose Tarantula called Fluffy, she is going on my face!!! OMG!!!!. This was my decision to have her on my face as I hope it will bring in plenty of sponsors.

My fear is that bad I can't even stand a money spider how silly is that lol, I freeze when I see them, Even though I have seen Fluffy before even looking at her in her Viv it makes me feel sick and I feel itchy and generally YUCK!!!.

So with the help of Dale, from Critterish Allsorts I am going to FACE MY FEAR!!! I am so determined to do this, I don't know if I'm excited to do it or nervous lol.

This is taking place on Thursday 31st October 2013 Yes Halloween lol.
Pictures will be taken on the day of me doing this and I will once again blog about it and share the pictures on here and Facebook.

If you would like to sponsor me then please do let me know and I can tell you how you can do this, all sponsors will be really appreciated, on behalf of all the committee members for Staffordshire Sands THANK YOU!!!

Very Special Baby Loss Keepsake

Hello all me again :)

Well I wanted to share with you all my latest make, which is one of many to come for this range of keepsakes. It is a Baby Loss memorial Bookatrix Keepsake for a little girl.

I am also donating 50% of sales from each sale made of these direct to Staffordshire Sands which is a Neonatal and Death Charity which supports parents and families who have been through such a sad time of loosing a child either through born sleeping, miscarriage or neonatal. I am also a fundraiser for the charity and very proud to be apart of such a excellent charity. This charity is also very close to my heart and I will do what ever I can to help to raise much needed awareness and funds for this cause, so many parents go through the loss of a child and don't know about Staffordshire Sands until they are told by somebody else, so myself and the committee members want to get the word out as much as possible. Staffordshire Sands is apart of UK-Sands, to know more you can check out the websites which are:

Loosing a child can be very devastating not just for the parents but also for other family members, hence why I have done this new range so that parents etc can remember there Angel Babies in a special way with a unique and one of a kind keepsake.

An Angel Opened The Book Of Life
To Record A Baby’s Birth
And Whispered As She Closed The Book,
Too Beautiful For Earth’
Every part of these unique keepsakes are handmade with love and care the image on this one has been hand coloured using Promarkers

These can be made to suit your requirements for both boy and girl or in neutral colours to remember your Angel in anyway you would like, You can even have a picture of your Angel added to the keepsake and have it personalised in anyway you would like.
To order just visit my facebook page
and message me through there with your requirements or you can email me at

I hope you like what I have done and help to spread the word of SANDS and what we do
