Crafty Session

Hello all :), I hope you are all well, I have had a few good days the pain hasn't been too bad YAY!!

So yesterday I had my usual crafty session with my partner in crime and close friend Laura, we have a craft session once to twice a week, so yesterday was a bit of a productive day with making some new designs of cards including three Christmas cards :O yes I said Christmas lol, We both seemed to go on a little hypo by insulting each other and just pure randomness hehe.

Well here are the new Christmas Cards for this year so far

I also did some other occasion cards including Birthday and Thank You and here they are

And lastly I made a new Thank You card

I hope you like the new creations I have done, These can be found on my Facebook page Kelly's Enchanted Castle and are ready to be purchased.

I have also been busy with paper work for Staffordshire SANDS as we have a committee meeting on Monday and me and Laura have quite a few things to discuss with the rest of the committee to do with a family fun day, ways to improve the support meetings and so on.
I am also attending Midsummer Mayhem at Lyme Valley on Sunday with the Staffordshire SANDS information stall so we can get the word out that we are here to help grieving parents. I hope that if you are local to Stoke-On-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme that I will see you there for a brilliant family day out.

The winner of the challenge is chosen by a random thingy, and you could win 5 yes 5 digi images of your choice, Don't forget if you do use a Delicious Doodles image you will could also be spotlighted. Good Luck

Here is my DT inspiration piece I have used
Beach Huts and Ice-Cream Sundae

I started off by choosing my images and printing them off once I had printed them off I then started to colour them in using my Promarkers
The colours I have used for the Beach Huts image are:
Azure, Duck Egg, Pastel Blue, Cool Aqua, Tea Green, Soft Green,Meadow Green, Berry Red, Gold, Poppy, Warm Grey 3, Buttercup and Tulip Yellow.

For the Ice Cream Sundae the colours I have used are:
Poppy, Caramel, Baby Pink, Cocoa and Cool Aqua.

Now the images are all coloured I then started to cut them both out, once they were cut out I then put them to one side, and started to think about what backing papers to use and emmbelishments, once I had decided on my backing papers I then cut then down to the size I required.

After cutting everything I then started to play around with the layout until I was happy once I was happy I then got my blank A5 card and started to stick everything down once the backing papers and images were stuck down, I then chose which colours of my Mulberry Paper roses I wanted to used.

Once the rose colours were picked I then used some Stick It Squares to stick the roses into place around the 2 opposite corners to give it the finishing touch.

Have fun with with this challenge and show us your bright and colourful summer makes

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

A day in Blackpool

Hello all well, yesterday was a bit of a surprise was not expecting it at all, the other half decided to take me on a random drive to Blackpool for the day YAY!!!, Now we have just recently celebrated our 5 year anniversary and I am so happy to say we are also FINALLY planning our wedding YIPEEEE!!! were looking at August 2015 and I can honestly say I can not wait.

Anyways while in Blackpool we decided to take a look at Madame Tussauds while we were there and make use of the merlin annual passes lol, so here are a few piccies of us in Blackpool

After Tussauds we took a walk along the promenade, onto North pier and back down again on the beach

I was really proud of myself and so was my partner as we did quite a bit of walking and I managed to do it, but we did have a few sit down's now and then and I made sure I took my medication with me this time, we even stopped off for some tea at a outstanding place called New Yorker Restaurant which is on the promenade, the food was OMG!!! delicious we both really enjoyed our meal we even sat outside to eat, We are defo going to go and eat there again.

By the time we made our way back to the car I was exhausted but can honestly say had a brilliant day was a lovely surprise, I was so glad to be in the car though and on our way home, but there was one more thing we had to do on the way home and that was stop off at a service station and grab a Starbucks lol.

We finally arrived home just after 11pm to a lovely little surprise a cute little hedgehog was walking up our driveway so I just had to get the little guy in a blanket and move him out of the way, we also had a lovely welcome home from our Staffordshire bull terrier Prince who seemed really glad to have us home with lots of talking to us cuddles and kisses, but as always he was sooooo gentle with me he must have known I was a little achy and sore.

Prince wanted to say Hi!! (Woof)

So after just relaxing for a bit on the sofa, we then went bed I must have died when my head hit the pillow, but was then woken up by a wonderful storm NOT!!!

I hope you all had a lovely day, and keep your eyes open over the next few days for a few more updates on what I have been busy doing with regards to new creations, challenge pieces, Staffordshire SANDS news, and event news

Busy times

Hello all, Well I haven't done a blog post for a while due to being very busy with making new keepsake cards, a few I will share with you on this post but I still have about 10 to complete, I'm awaiting my stock to arrive so I can complete them hopefully it will be here this week (fingers crossed).

I have also been busy with a charity which is very close to my heart which is Staffordshire SANDS. Staffordshire SANDS is a stillbirth and neonatal death charity to raise awareness and to give support to grieving parents who have been through the loss of thier baby, either it is through Stillbirth, Neonatal, Miscarriage. I attended my first meeting with them a couple of weeks back and the meeting was SANDS first AGM meeting, during the meeting we discussed different things along with an election for the Committee for the next 12 months, so we all had to elect and then second and third someone for each role.

I can say with great pride and honour I was elected etc to be the Head Fundraiser for Staffordshire SANDS, I have alot of ideas which I will be discussing at the next committee meeting with the help of my close friend Laura who is also on the committee and is the hospital liaison.

Here are a few of us Committee members along with Kyle who is the Mayor of Kidsgrove and he has chosen Staffordshire SANDS as his charity of the year which is fantastic

Now back to my new designs of cards and a few Bookatrix Keepsake cards

First one I have designed is a 21st Birthday easel card, the image is Steampunk Sally by Delicious Doodles

Now for some of the new Bookatrix designs

A New Baby Boy the image on this bookatrix is by Sugar Nellie and is called Bambino it has also been coloured in using Promarkers

 50Th Birthday

And lastly I have a new Christening Card design the image is from Just Inklined

So as you can see I have been very busy with charity work and new card designs, with a few more still to complete all they need is some sentiments added to them so I'm hoping these will be complete some time this week :) and then I can show you all, all of these have been designed when I have had my crafty session with my close friend Laura.
